GFSN League
Away (Leicester)

The Ballbois were defeated for the first time in eleven matches, beaten by closest rivals Leicester Wildecats in a poor display lacking quality football, direction or ideas.

Three goals down in the first fifteen minutes left the team a mountain to climb as Leicester’s pace ravaged the Ballbois beleaguered defence. Without a display of quality goalkeeping from Dave S the result would have been a lot worse and although a switch to a 4-5-1 formation brought some respite Nottingham were never really in the game.

A goal in each half from player/manager Damian S brought some hope before Leicester headed a fourth to put the game beyond reach. In the closing stages, keeper Dave S pulled off a number of fine saves to keep the result respectable
