15 November 2009 After two poor performances and consecutive away defeats the Ballbois hosted the Leftfooters in a game they need to win to restore some much needed confidence. Returning to their original home on the newly re-laid pitches at Gresham the Ballbois took all three points with a solid if unremarkable performance. Midfielder Jeff N scored the opening goal, which was to be a GFSN landmark, the 1200th goal in all league and cup matches. He went on to add two more, scoring his first ever hat trick and rightly earning the man of the match award for an outstanding performance. 3-0 up at half time, the Ballbois looked comfortable and Damian S switched to a 3-5-2 formation before the Footers scored a scrambled goal, denying keeper Tony L a clean sheet in four attempts against them. Nottingham went on to add further goals with a header from Kevin F and a fifth from James H in a somewhat scrappy second half performance. Team: Tony L, Shaun B, John S, Brett L, Paul B, Craig M, Jeff N, Terry K, AJ, Julie F, Gareth D
