A comfortable 3-0 victory extended Nottingham's unbeaten run to four games, easing the team into the top half of the GFSN League table for the first time. The game saw a debut for Matt H, and after almost two years, the first clean sheet for goalie Tony L.

The game got off to a shaky start for Nottingham, and Brighton were allowed some early attempts on the Ballbois goal. Nottingham too had early chances, but as the half progressed began to stamp their authority on the game as they eased into a more fluent and assured passing game.

The deadlock was broken after 25 minutes with Chris L scoring from a Damian S corner. On 38 minutes, the lead was doubled as James H met a ball crossed in from Jordan K.

Nottingham began the second half in a similar style, and on 47 minutes secured the game with a 25-yard screamer from Damian S.

Brighton came back into the game as the second half progressed, but the Ballbois shut-up shop to ensure that the score remained 3-0 at full-time. A solid display in defence earned Brett L the man-of-the-match award.
