Nottingham squandered an early lead as defensive confusion and heavy snow conspired to produce an away defeat for the Ballbois.

Nottingham's passing game reaped dividends early on as an early chance was hit home powerfully by AJ.

This was followed by more chances for Nottingham, prompting Yorkshire to change to a 4-4-2 formation. This seemed to do the trick for them, and within minutes they beat an offside trap to equalise, the half-time score 1-1.

The second half weather worsened, and so did the Nottingham performance. Yorkshire's striker nipped past the Nottingham goalie to score into an open net. Nottingham had little to offer in return, and eventually let in a poor third whilst stood statuesque waiting for an off-side whistle that was never going to arrive.

A late strike which hit the post was too late to revive the vistors' fortunes on a day which Nottingham will want to forget.
