Ballbois Vase Winners

A London Titans team, with guests from a few other GFSN clubs, won the Nottingham Ball Bois Second Anniversary Tournament. The London team beat off an impressive challenge from 11-a-side newcomers, Mersey Marauders, in the final of the competition.

Hotscots FC and Birmingham Blaze were the other two teams to qualify for the semi-finals from the group stages.

Despite not qualifying, home team Nottingham took the consolation vase trophy, which was contested with Yorkshire Terriers and London Romans.

There were social events throughout the weekend, with money being raised for the Everyman male cancer charity. The highlight of the weekend was the debut of international singing artiste Ivana Cucumber, believed to be a distant relative of Nottingham Ball Bois' John Smith.
