Nottingham's strong start to the season continued with a 7-2 victory over Yorkshire Terriers.

The Ballbois looked dominant in the first half, with James H putting the home team in the lead on five minutes. Most of the play was in the Yorkshire half, but Ballbois pressure was unrewarded for thirty minutes until Craig scored the second.

Nottingham then had ten minutes of madness, allowing Yorkshire a route back into the game. Indecisiveness at the back allowed the visitors their first, then a controversial equaliser came as Tony L smothered the ball from a corner, but the linesman judged it to be over the line. What should have been a comfortable lead at half time was now even at 2-2.

Nottingham took time to settle into the second half, but eventually showed their superior skill and pace. Damian S's second half opener was followed by a confident strike from Chris L which seemed to make the game certain for Nottingham. No-one mentioned this to Damian S, however, who added another three to his total, taking his tally to four for the afternoon, and Nottingham's to seven.

The win consolidates Nottingham's second place in the league, and overhauls much of the goal difference advantage held by Birmingham Blaze from the first round of GFSN games.
