29 March 2009 As the scoreline suggests, Nottingham dominated this fixture, although they didn't have things their own way for the full ninety minutes. Nottingham attacked from the whistle, and were rewarded with a goal on 5 minutes for Rob C, making his GFSN debut. Jordan K was dominant down the left, creating both the first and second goals, the second cross being met by Adam R. A third in three minutes came from AJ, and ten minutes later a defensive spillage was collected by Damian to make the score 4-0. To their credit, the Leftfooters could have caved in from here, but instead they took the game back to Nottingham, taking advantage of a few defensive lapses. Two opportunities on the Nottingham goal were missed, the visitors lucky to go into half-time with a clean sheet. In the second half, Nottingham were rampant, with Damian opening the scoring four minutes in with the second of what was to be a hat-trick. Craig, Chris and AJ each picked up a brace, whilst Brett and James also got in on the action with a goal-apiece. The final action of the afternoon was to be a Leftfooters consolation which brought the score to 13-1. A great afternoon's work which saw the Ballbois stretch their lead at the top of the GFSN League. Special mention goes to Andrew M and Kaz H who both made assured debuts in black and gold. Team: Tony L, John S, Brett L, Paul B, Adam R, AJ, Craig S, Jordan K, Damian S, James H, Rob C
